Product Support Specialist - Austin

JOB TITLE: Product Support Specialist

JOB TYPE: FLSA Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: We are a product division of Marsh McLennan Companies, and develop custom communication platforms inclusive of a custom branded native app, for our clients. The technology was created by in-house developers who are passionate about the product. The Product Support Specialist is a core part of our ability to deliver at a high level of precision. A desired skill set would be someone who has worked with employee benefits in some capacity, due to the benefits content we build out for our clients.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The goal of this role is to work with our operations team to build out native apps that the iNGAGED team will be proud to deploy. The Product Support Specialist will become familiar with the process of building content in our portal for client apps, creating app submission packets, and behind the scenes mechanics that play a powerful role in the success of launching a new client’s communication platform/app and supporting existing clients. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Report to the Director of Client Services and support the Client Service Team
  • Communicate both verbally and via email
  • Pay close attention to details – you will not be able to perform the duties of the job without this ability
  • Use client portal to build out app content (benefits, worker’s comp, time & payroll, etc.)
  • Correspond with clients, brokers and vendors
  • Create app submission packets for Apple Business Manager and Google Play
  • Use agency management tools to ensure processes are documented and followed
  • Maintain client email templates while working in the transmit folder
  • Submit app flyer design requests to graphics designer (ensure all communication pieces are completed with accuracy and proper grammar)
  • Work independently and with others while completing tasks on time
  • Maintain strict security standards related to managing Personal Health Information (PHI)
  • Assist with other client related projects and task as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree preferred; business, technology or related field
  • Comfort with mobile apps and desire to work in tech long-term
  • Proficient in MS Office software suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational skills, problem solving ability and a goal driven mindset
  • Good communication skills required
  • Ability to work hard independently as well as in a team environment, and have fun doing it
  • Bilingual is a plus
